DQI USA TYPICALLY PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING PROJECT-BASED SERVICES AS PART OF ITS BUILDING DESIGN QUALITY CONSULTING SERVICES:

PROJECT ORGANIZATION

  • Develop project plan that sets detailed project scope, deliverables and timeline.
  • Develop organizational structure by which project will be managed.
  • Identify DQI Leaders, DQI Design Teams, and resources for administrative support.
  • Evaluate timing considerations and other related feasibility issues.

TRAINING

Ensure that clients understand the scope and capabilities of the DQI assessment tool, as well as, make DQI Facilitator fluent in the client’s circumstances.

  • Identify in which phase of construction respective buildings/designs are.
  • Identify DQI Leader, DQI Facilitator/Leader and Key Stakeholder Groups are
  • Organize Initial DQI Seminar for DQI Leader and Design Team
  • Evaluation of timing considerations
  • Other related feasibility issues

RESPONDENT SELECTION

Select the most value add Respondents to take the DQI

  • DQI Leader and Facilitator/Trailblazer will choose quantity of desired Respondents, delivery operational
  • In this Phase, it is essential that the DQI Leader and DQI Facilitator/Trailblazer work together to ensure that any and all stakeholders are represented within the Survey data set.
  • Survey Instructions will be tailored / edited to Client and respondent needs.

SURVEY ADMINISTRATION

Administer the DQI Online Survey in a manner that yields the most robust and accurate data set possible for the Client.

  • Facilitation of Design Team in Respondent selection, including type and quantity of desired Respondents, welcome packet and survey delivery methods, and deliverable timeline.
  • Survey Instructions tailored/edited to Respondent needs.
  • DQI Leader Key generation to provide Design Team and Respondent access to online system.
  • Support DQI Leader(s), and Respondents during the Survey process through on-site visits, periodic meetings and Q&A conference calls.
  • Monitor progress towards Survey completion and work with Client administration to follow-up in order to ensure high response rate.

POST-SURVEY RESULTS DEBRIEF

Assist Client in understanding what the DQI results imply for the buildings and designs under review.

  • Prepare and deliver Survey results Debrief (in-person or virtually) including interpretation of DQI Scorecard(s) for the key stakeholders.
  • Assist Client in translation of results into actionable items.
  • Determine and memorialize next steps in DQI process.

INTEGRATION OF THE DQI PROCESS INTO THE PROCUREMENT PROCESS OF THE ORGANIZATION

Assist Client in incorporating the DQI formally into the procurement process.

  • DQI USA can work with the client to integrate the DQI outputs into current benchmarking standards, such as a KPI’s.

“Train the trainer” services can also be provided to accelerate the adoption process, by creating “in-house” DQI Trailblazers/Facilitators.
